Welcome to part 2/4 of the mini-series: Two Cute, Two Creepy!
Today I’m bring you a creeeeeepy coffee sleeve to add to your collection!
|Yarn||Worsted Weight (black, sleeve base, white, red)|
|Glue||Hot glue or fabric glue|
Base Sleeve (whatever color yarn you’d like – I used purple here)
Chain 32, join to first ch making a big ring.
Rounds 1-3: ch 2, HDC in each around, join to first stitch (32)
Round 4: ch 2, Inc, HDC 15, Inc, HDC 15, join (34)
Round 5-6: ch 2, HDC around, join (34)
Round 7: ch 2, Inc, HDC 16, Inc, HDC 16, join (36)
Round 8-9: ch 2, HDC around, join (36)
We’re going to embroider the web onto the sleeve.
Round 1: ch 2, HDC around 6. join (6)
Round 2: ch 2, 2 HDC in each st, join (12)
Round 3: ch 2, HDC around, join (12)
Round 4: ch 2, [HDC2tog, HDC], repeat  around, join (8)
Round 5: ch 2, [HDC2tog], repeat  around, join (4)
Round 6: ch 2, [2 HDC, HDC] repeat  around, join (6)
Round 7: ch 2, HDC around, join (6)
Round 8: ch 1, sl st across several times, back and forth to close
Embroider on the legs using the black yarn and at the same time, attaching the spider to the sleeve! I attached the spider through the area that would be where the legs come from.
