Today’s pattern is a cutie!! Here’s the Cute Bat Coffee Sleeve!
|Yarn||Worsted weight: gray and black|
|Glue||Hot glue or fabric glue|
|Felt||Black, white, pink|
Chain 32, join to first ch making a big ring.
Rounds 1-3: ch 2, HDC in each around, join to first stitch (32)
Round 4: ch 2, Inc, HDC 15, Inc, HDC 15, join (34)
Round 5-6: ch 2, HDC around, join (34)
Round 7: ch 2, Inc, HDC 16, Inc, HDC 16, join (36)
Round 8-9: ch 2, HDC around, join (36)
Join yarn to top of coffee sleeve
Row 1: ch 1, sc 3 (3)
Row 2: ch 1, sc 1, skip, sc 1 (2)
Row 3: ch 1, sc2tog (1)
Make another ear a few stitches over!
Row 1: sl st into 2nd ch from hook, and sl st into next ch, sc 5, skip, sc 6(14)
Row 2: ch 1, turn, Inc, sc 10 (12)
Row 3: turn, skip 1, sl st into next st, sc 3, skip 1, sc 4
Row 4: turn, skip 1, sl st into next st, sc 2, skip 1, sc 3
Row 5: ch 2, turn, sc into first st, sl st 4, ch 2, sc into last st
Sew these wings on! One on each side of the coffee sleeve!
Cut out 2 small circles for the eyes out of black felt. Cut 2 small squares out of white felt for the eyeshines. Cut out 2 small ovals for the blush. Cut out a U shape for the little smile! And don’t forget to cut 2 small triangles out of the white felt for the fangs!
Use either hot glue or fabric glue to stick all the little felt pieces on.
